Cloud Distribution Advances Security Portfolio with Endpoint Protection CrowdStrike

Distribution, a specialist in security, networking and storage, announced today that
the company has signed CrowdStrike, the leader in cloud-delivered endpoint
protection. The company’s marquee solution, CrowdStrike Falcon sets a new standard
in endpoint security by being the first and only platform to unify next-generation
antivirus (AV), endpoint detection and response (EDR) and managed hunting — all
delivered through the cloud via a single lightweight agent.
Working with a distributor with established expertise and partner network in EMEA
will help CrowdStrike support and accelerate its rapid growth in the region. Cloud
Distribution has a strong track record of bringing highly innovative and disruptive
vendors to market and shares CrowdStrike’s approach and commitment to fanatical
customer and partner support. For its part, Cloud Distribution was looking for a new
market leader to bolster its security offerings.
CrowdStrike’s fully cloud-based endpoint protection platform offers unprecedented
protection for both malware and malware-free intrusions. The company recently
introduced new product modules to provide customers with the flexibility to replace
their AV or augment it with EDR, security hygiene capabilities, and managed hunting.
As a result, Cloud Distribution partners can procure either separate capabilities or
CrowdStrike’s comprehensive endpoint protection platform.
CrowdStrike has been recently positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Visionaries
quadrant of the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP)
where it demonstrated a proven ability to replace legacy AV solutions and protect
against known and unknown threats without the use of signatures.
Cloud Distribution has employed a dedicated CrowdStrike sales specialist, Simon
Totterdell, to help enable partners and it has pre-built campaigns already available
via its Altitude Marketing Program. CrowdStrike has an established sales and
marketing team on the ground in the UK to accommodate its regional growth.
Cloud Distribution is hosting multiple end-user workshops for partners to invite
prospects along to learn about CrowdStrike and it has launched a marketing program
for customers to easily try out the CrowdStrike Falcon platform.
