CensorNet selected to boost security on Amey’s Government Contract

November 2016 by Marc Jacob

CensorNet has been selected by one of the UK’s leading public and support services providers, to secure the remote working environment for one of its government contracts.

CensorNet’s Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) solution, which uses a number of variables to validate users and provides passcodes via users’ mobile phones, was selected by Amey as a perfect fit on one of their government accounts.

David Barrie, Amey’s Systems Manager comments: “Our objective was to find a remote access solution that was intuitive, cost effective and adhered to strict security standards. We know that hackers often exploit weaknesses in authentication systems to breach company networks, so we wanted a best in class solution that would protect our customer’s remote access environment.”

Ed Macnair, CEO of Censornet says: “We are delighted to be working with Amey to secure remote access for its government contract client. Two-factor authentication is no longer viable for many businesses, as it is difficult and expensive for IT departments to manage and is vulnerable to attack. Locking down authentication is essential for organisations who want to use technology as a business enabler and our MFA solution helps to do that and keep malicious threats at bay.”
