CNL Software PSIM and Infinova Video Enable Safe Smart Cities in India

April 2016 by Marc Jacob

CNL Software is pleased to announce it is partnering with
Infinova on Safe Smart Cities programs in India and will be demonstrating its award
winning IPSecurityCenter(tm) PSIM technology alongside Infinova at Secutech India in
Mumbai on April 21-23, 2016.

[cid:image003.jpg@01D19668.EC51E410]The transformation of 100 cities into Smart
Cities is planned across India; each city will be equipped with the infrastructure
to offer pan-city elements including safety and security. Combining the latest PSIM
and video surveillance technologies, CNL Software and Infinova offer an integrated
situation management solution to enable Safe Smart Cities - maintaining the safety
of citizens, the protection of critical infrastructure and the security of travel &
transportation.

IPSecurityCenter PSIM is deployed in some of the largest safe city security programs
today in global cities such as Washington DC, US, London, UK and Manchester, UK,
supporting security and safety of citizens, visitors, commerce and infrastructure.
IPSecurityCenter PSIM allows the intelligent integration of range of security and
homeland defense technologies such as video surveillance and analytics, facial
recognition, License Plate Recognition (LPR), crowd monitoring, gunshot detection,
CBRNe, geospatial mapping and tracking.

As a first step this partnership has enabled the integration of IPSecurityCenter
PSIM with Infinova’s V2217 Video Management System, adding PSIM benefits to its rich
VMS features. Infinova’s strengths within city surveillance have already been
recognized in India, and has ensured a successful track record within safe city
projects. This success can be attributed to its advanced video management
capabilities, which ensures cities can maximize their investment in legacy analog
systems, and provides a migration path to IP System without the need for additional
investments.
