BT Global Services appoints Tom Regent to Head Global Sales and Marketing

BT announced the appointment of Tom Regent as President of Global Sales & Marketing, in charge of worldwide sales operations, bid management, indirect channels and marketing in BT Global Services. Tom will report to CEO Jeff Kelly.
Tom Regent joins BT on November 1 from AT&T where he has led the company’s business in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa since 2007, based out of London. Prior to that role, Tom was Global Marketing VP for AT&T’s international operations after having worked in several senior staff positions in the company’s headquarters in the United States. He joined AT&T from IBM in 1999 to lead sales operations in the Benelux region and became VP of global accounts in 2004.
BT Global Services is a global leader in the provision of networked IT services to organisations ranging from multinational corporations like major banks, retailers and pharmaceutical manufacturers to local businesses and government departments. Tom Regent will lead BT Global Services teams addressing the needs of those customers in more than 170 countries.
Tom Regent, 40, is a Belgian citizen and a graduate of the Universities of Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) with a Bachelor of Applied Economics and a Master of Business Administration with a major in International Management.
