Acalvio Partners with Microsoft to Deliver Industry’s First Distributed Deception Solution on Azure Cloud Platform

February 2017 by Marc Jacob

Acalvio Technologies, an innovator in Advanced Threat
Defense, today announced the industry’s first Distributed Deception solution to be
delivered from Microsoft’s Azure platform. Acalvio will collaborate with Microsoft
to create standardized models for deployment and response; and enable Managed
Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver customized solutions for their respective
markets.

ShadowPlex(tm) is Acalvio’s flagship offering which leverages Fluid Deception(tm)
technology to enable authentic and cost-effective deception at scale, now delivered
in a DevOps model. In addition, ShadowPlex allows for full engagement with threats
to study attack tactics and tools. Adversary Behavior Analytics(tm) (ABA) delivers
valuable intelligence around adversary travels, latent vulnerabilities thus enabling
automated response and enables IR teams to react to malicious activity.

Acalvio’s DeceptionFarms(tm) technology extends ShadowPlex to the cloud, enabling
customers and partners to employ effective deception with ease within cloud and on
premises networks to help enhance their security posture against breaches and
insider threats. It uses an innovative distributed approach to enable safe and
effective deceptions across multiple network segments from secure centralized
locations. This patent-pending technology enables the "deceptions-as-a-service"
model, allowing deceptions to be right-sized, cost-effective, scalable, contained
and most importantly, while not introducing any additional points of vulnerabilities
into the network.
