AVG Technologies Releases New Apps for Latest Kindle Devices
February 2014 by Marc Jacob
AVG Technologies N.V. announced the availability of three new free apps for the latest Amazon® Kindle Fire HDX tablet to make sure users get an improved experience from their devices.
AVG PrivacyFix™ helps users see at glance their personal privacy settings and make any adjustments in response to changes in the privacy settings of popular social networks like Facebook® and Google®. Device performance improvement apps AVG Uninstaller and AVG Battery Saver & TuneUp guide users on the apps that are rarely used and provide help to remove them, boost battery life, and keep track of data and storage usage. All apps are free to download from the Amazon Appstore.
AVG PrivacyFix
In the ever-changing world of social sites, AVG PrivacyFix helps users navigate the online privacy settings of their favorite social networks such as Facebook, Google or LinkedIn™. It provides users with an instant view of their social profile status, flags potential concerns and proposes easy-to-understand fixes from one single dashboard. These could include, for example, preventing friends’ apps from accessing their personal data, getting rid of old apps no longer used, and helping control personal information shared on social sites. It also helps users select to opt out of targeted advertising on the sites they visit.
