brightsolid Partners with Proofpoint to Offer Security and Compliance Solutions in the Cloud

Proofpoint, Inc., a provider of cloud email security and compliance solutions, announced a partnership with IT services company, brightsolid Online Technology. brightsolid will offer Proofpoint Enterprise Archive™ and Proofpoint Enterprise Protection™ solutions to customers across the United Kingdom to protect against the rise in security breaches and help manage compliance requirements. Through the partnership with Proofpoint, brightsolid will be able to ensure the integrity of customers’ inbound and outbound email, and protect against spam, phish attacks and malware.
Increasing regulatory compliance requirements across various industries add to the need for specialist solutions such as Proofpoint Enterprise Archive, which helps organisations manage email storage, compliance and eDiscovery. Proofpoint’s solution provides email users with a secure, fully-encrypted archive that is easily searchable and accessible, with customisable retention policies to ensure content is retained for the appropriate period of time. The partnership has already resulted in new client wins, with publisher DC Thomson signing a multi-year subscription for Proofpoint Enterprise Security and Archive.
