SYNTHESIS OF THE VULNERABILITY

An attacker can trigger a Cross Site Scripting in
DatabaseInterface.class.php and server_status_monitor.js of
phpMyAdmin, in order to execute JavaScript code in the context of
the web site.

Impacted products: MBS, phpMyAdmin

Severity: 1/4

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY

The phpMyAdmin product is a web application.

However, it does not escape received data before inserting them in
generated HTML documents.

An attacker can therefore trigger a Cross Site Scripting in
DatabaseInterface.class.php and server_status_monitor.js of
phpMyAdmin, in order to execute JavaScript code in the context of
the web site.
