DESCRIPTION DE LA VULNÉRABILITÉ
La bibliothèque Gdiplus.dll de Windows supporte les images au
format TIFF.
Cependant, lors de l’analyse d’une image TIFF, Gdiplus.dll
n’initialise pas une zone mémoire avant de la retourner à
l’utilisateur.
Un attaquant peut donc lire un fragment de la mémoire de Windows
via une image TIFF, afin d’obtenir des informations sensibles.
