SYNTHESIS OF THE VULNERABILITY

An attacker can trigger a Cross Site Scripting via dialog of
Node.js jquery-ui, in order to run JavaScript code in the context
of the web site.

Impacted products: Node.js Modules not comprehensive.

Severity: 2/4.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY

The jquery-ui module can be installed on Node.js.

This module manipulates user interface elements via jQuery.
However, the data received via the "closeText" parameter in the
"dialog" function is not filtered before generating HTML documents.

An attacker can therefore trigger a Cross Site Scripting via
dialog of Node.js jquery-ui, in order to run JavaScript code in
the context of the web site.
