TBS Internet partners with GlobalSign

GlobalSign NV, one of the longest established Certification Authorities (CA) and specialists in SSL Certificate security, today announced that TBS Internet (www.tbs-internet.com), a leading French SSL aggregator, has joined its SSL Partner Program and will be promoting its range of Organisation Validated and Extended Validation SSL Certificates. The newly formed partnership will allow TBS Internet’s customers to easily obtain and implement GlobalSign’s highly trusted 2048 bit SSL technology to secure their websites, online transactions, logins, webmail and other next generation services.
TBS Internet has added GlobalSign SSL certificates to its product range, including OrganizationSSL Certificates which display the organisation’s details telling visitors that it is legitimate, as well as the latest Extended Validation (EV) technology. EV SSL Certificates not only display the yellow padlock, but also turn the browser’s green address bar in IE7 and 8, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome and Safari, rendering SSL security more visible to end users than ever before.
As an SSL Certificate aggregator since 1996, TBS Internet offers SSL solutions from several other Certificate Authorities. Partnering with GlobalSign has enabled TBS Internet to complement its current SSL product portfolio by adding a simplified, highly competitive and feature-packed range of SSL Certificates. GlobalSign SSL Certificates include free Server Gated Cryptography (to “step up” weak browser encryption to strong encryption on older browsers) and support wildcard technology and Subject Alternative Names (SANs for Unified Communications), to allow the securing of multiple sites with a single certificate, providing extra flexibility and simplified SSL management all round.
