Sourcefire Named Finalist in Two Categories for SC Magazine Awards 2010 Europe

-Sourcefire, Inc., the creators of Snort®, have been shortlisted for two categories at the SC Magazine Awards 2010 Europe. The company has been selected as a finalist in the Best Network Security group and the New! Best Secure Virtualisation Solution category.
Sourcefire is one of 80 companies who have been shortlisted for an award at the ceremony in April which is well-known for celebrating and rewarding security’s key contributors and their outstanding products. Individuals, brands and products shortlisted for the SC Awards address not only the challenges prominent today, but also the emerging threat landscape of tomorrow.
