Soufyane Sassi appointed Technical Director for LogPoint in France, Belgium and Luxembourg

LogPoint has appointed Soufyane Sassi as Technical Director to support LogPoint partners and customers in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Southern Europe in the design of solutions based on the LogPoint SIEM platform. The rapidly growing cybersecurity-software provider is a leading European provider of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions. LogPoint enables enterprises to proactively monitor their networks and identify security threats in real-time to prevent cyber attacks and fulfil their compliance requirements.
As Technical Director, Sassi will provide an interface between Partner-based sales efforts and the technical organization at LogPoint. He will support LogPoint partners in architecting solutions for customers in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and parts of Southern Europe and will be leading proof-of-concept efforts. 34-year old Soufyane Sassi started his career as part of the core team, that built the successful French IT Security solutions distributor Config and the proceeded to a position as Pre-Sales Account Manager at Qualys in 2011 before joining LogPoint.
Soufyane Sassi will be joining the LogPoint team led by Frederic Saulet, Regional Director for France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Southern Europe, working out of the company offices in Paris. LogPoint focus on midsized and large organizations in the private as well as in the public sector and already provides SIEM solutions for more than 250 organizations throughout Europe, including industry, the financial sector, IT service providers and government institutions.
According to Gartner Group the cyber security and SIEM-markets are currently experiencing double-digit growth. An efficient SIEM-solution will not only aid in the timely detection of cyber threats, but it is also a key tool in the ever-important process of network optimization. In addition, the implementation of a SIEM-solution to monitor and document network traffic is increasingly becoming a compliance requirement in quality standards as well as in auditing guidelines, company policies and general legislation.
