Risk of getting stung with 4G mobile phones? "ChatSim solves the problem."

May 2015 by Marc Jacob

There are countless traps when using digital devices when traveling and often consumers are unaware of them especially if they are less experienced. Smartphones that use the 4G network for roaming are in the eye of the storm because data traffic is expensive and so many users don’t even know it. Many of them have the unpleasant surprise of finding expensive bills once they are back home. Mobile phone operators say that it is not their fault and builds smartphone manufacturers. Many argue that it’s all the fault of these devices that are unable to completely block data traffic when roaming under the 4G network. This means that roaming could just activate just by itself. They are just passing the buck as usual. And in the meantime consumers just pay… How to solve the problem?

"In order to avoid the risk of being stung with 4G mobile phones, the first thing to do when you are traveling abroad is to disable data roaming." This is the advice of Manuel Zanella (38 years old), founder and CEO of ChatSim, famous also as founder and CEO of Zeromobile, Italy’s number one low-cost global mobile operator, that helps you save up to 85% on the cost of outgoing and incoming calls, text messages and mobile Internet.

As Manuel Zanella points out, "ChatSim was created as the world’s first SIM card that lets you chat free of charge and with no limits, even without Wi-Fi, using all instant messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger and many other apps available for smartphones and tablets)." He goes on to say, "This innovative SIM card has solved the problem of data traffic. Travelers are using mobile phones less and less to make calls since they can choose to chat with relatives, friends and colleagues." As pointed out by the ChatSim inventor, "You don’t need 4G. Good old GPRS works fine. In this regard, 4G is a false problem, because most users use their phones to chat, that is to say, to exchange text messages and emoticons. And GPRS technology, available since the end of the nineties, is more than enough. The bottom line is that users don’t need 4G and ChatSim, the SIM card designed to chat free of charge with all the instant messaging systems, is the solution to roaming around the world by relying on the GPRS network. Let’s not forget that GPRS also offers advantages in terms of battery life compared to 4G, because it lasts longer," concludes Manuel Zanella.

With just €10, ChatSim lets you chat free of charge and without limits for a year exchanging text messages and unlimited emoji.

ChatSim can be purchased online.
