| Overland Storage Inc. announced the appointment of Ravi Pendekanti as vice president of marketing. In this position, Ravi Pendekanti will leverage his extensive marketing and product management experience as well as proven expertise in storage and server systems management to lead the company’s global marketing initiatives. |
| Previously, Ravi Pendekanti managed the industry marketing and solutions engineering teams associated with selling global solutions at SGI. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions within the intellectual property and reference architectures marketing groups at Sun Microsystems. During his tenure at Sun, Ravi Pendekanti earned the coveted Chairman’s Award for his innovative marketing efforts involving the storage and server product lines, which became the foundation for the company’s highly successful solution sales approach. Ravi Pendekanti also served as vice president of worldwide marketing at Intransa and held various marketing positions at Compuware and HP. Ravi Pendekanti holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Florida Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kakatiya University. |
