Netwrix Introduces Free Add-on to Strengthen the Security of Cisco Network Infrastructures

Netwrix Corporation announced that a new add-on for Cisco is now available in the Netwrix Auditor Add-on Store for all customers at no cost. The add-on provides pervasive visibility into the activity around network devices and helps prevent adversaries from taking control over traffic.
The add-on enables organizations that rely on Cisco ASAs to minimize the risk of network sniffing and other attacks aimed at monitoring or manipulating the traffic to and from the network, or masking illegitimate access to critical systems. For example, with the new add-on, organizations can:
• Check whether someone is trying to brute force administrative credentials on a network device, by seeing when there are multiple failed logons from a single account.
• Investigate whether the admin account has been compromised, if an admin logged on from an invalid IP address.
• Make sure any change to a routing rule does not put sensitive data at risk.
