| Mimosa Systems will announce the UK launch of Mimosa NearPoint , the company’s award-winning data protection and archiving solution for Microsoft Exchange Server. |
| Mimosa Systems will also be giving away 500 copies of the official "Email Archiving for Dummies" book written by archiving gurus and Mimosa Systems employees Bob Spurzman and Bill Tolson. "Email Archiving for Dummies" is a comprehensive but easy-to-understand reference tool designed to help IT managers use email archiving to take control of their exploding email requirements. In addition to protecting against email outage, UK firms are seeing an increased demand for better email management and data protection so that they meet compliance and corporate governance requirements. The traditional approach to recover historical emails has often been to trawl manually through backup tapes, a highly inefficient and costly exercise in terms of time and money. Mimosa NearPoint for Microsoft Exchange Server is designed to solve both these issues, combining data protection and archiving of email in an easy to deploy package without significantly changing the end-user experience. |
