Interxion Announces Availability of Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute at Interxion Amsterdam

INTERXION HOLDING NV announced that you can now access ExpressRoute at Interxion’s Amsterdam facility, enabling Interxion’s customers to achieve improved security and high performance private network connections to Microsoft Azure.
As organisations start to move more of their IT workloads to the public cloud and benefit from the agility and cost savings it has to offer they are becoming increasingly concerned with security, performance and resilience. In fact recent research from IDG Connect has shown network security to be the biggest concern for Dutch companies when looking to connect to the Cloud. Private connections such as ExpressRoute can help alleviate these concerns by delivering the reliable and predictable network performance required for the successful implementation of hybrid clouds.
ExpressRoute is now available to all customers located at Interxion’s Amsterdam campus, via Interxion’s Cloud Connect service. Cloud Connect is a bespoke cloud access service allowing customers to build and manage private, high-performance and security-enhanced connections to multiple clouds through a single connection. It’s a highly scalable, fast and cost-effective way to create hybrid, multi-cloud IT environments and to move business critical workloads and latency sensitive applications to the public cloud.
