Interoute eCommerce Hosting: PCI-DSS certification for credit card transactions confirms

Interoute has ensured maintaining its ability to host customer PCI-DSS certification solutions in its PCI-DSS accredited Data Centres in Zurich, Geneva, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Madrid. Obtained by an independent qualified Security Assessor (QSA) testing and accrediting to the critical aspects of Access and Physical control. PCI DSS stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and the globally valid standard for credit card information.
The leading credit card companies, including Visa and MasterCard, PCI DSS initiated to enhance security for card payments and to protect merchants and cardholders against card data theft. Every year in April, the compliance with safety requirements is examined and decided on the renewal of the certification. "Sensitive card data must be protected at all times during processing, transmission and storage," says Santiago Caneiro, Interoute Country Manager Switzerland. Interoutes PCI accredited Data Centres help ensure the security policies of companies and against theft and misuse counter effectively.
The PCI DSS standard, the most stringent security and control against online fraud and theft of credit card information and personal data. The Security Standard provides, inter alia, Requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture and software design. The catalog of mandatory criteria and requirements includes more than 200 individual requirements. "Any organization that entrusted their valuable credit card data to a managed hosting provider, should make absolutely certain that PCI DSS security systems are implemented," said Caneiro, Interoute Country Manager Switzerland.
