Gartner Identifies Arcserve as Fastest-Growing Unified Backup and Recovery Vendor for Cloud, Virtual and Physical Infrastructures

Arcserve is identified as the fastest growing provider of data protection
solutions that back up and instantly recover from heterogeneous IT infrastructures.
According to Gartner metrics that detail the firm’s annual market share analysis on
data centre backup and recovery, Arcserve grew its worldwide market share by 28.3 percent year-over-year.
Furthermore, in its most recent Magic Quadrant for Data Center Backup and Recovery Software, Gartner recognises Arcserve’s continued investment in addressing the backup needs of upper-midsize and decentralised large-enterprise organisations, underscored by a marked improvement in sales and the conversion from its foundational solution to its flagship technology, Arcserve Unified Data Protection (UDP).
The newly published report is refocused to include only vendors that have very
strong capabilities at an enterprise level. As a result, a number of vendors were
out of scope for the 2016 quadrant.
