Election of the new GIMELEC president

The Schneider Electric France’s President, who is also Member of the Executive Committee of Schneider Electric, was elected on May 20, 2022 as President of GIMELEC.
GIMELEC’s 210 member companies design and deploy electrical, automation and digital solutions for the electrification, decarbonization and control of industries, buildings, energy and digital infrastructures and electromobility.
Laurent BATAILLE joined Schneider Electric in 2004 in the Strategy and Acquisitions Department. He held various leadership positions of responsibility in the CST industrial division from 2006 to 2011 before leading Schneider Electric’s Solar business from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, he became head took over the leadership of the EcoBuilding division before being appointed General Manager Digital Energy in January 2019. Before joining Schneider Electric, he was a consultant for McKinsey & Company. Laurent Bataille holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Ecole Polytechnique (France).
Le GIMELEC fédère les entreprises de la filière électronumérique en France. Ces entreprises conçoivent et déploient les solutions électriques, d’automatismes et numériques pour l’électrification, la décarbonation et le pilotage des industries, des bâtiments et des infrastructures énergétiques ainsi que numériques.
