Eaton Awarded Best IT Infrastructure Supplier 2014 at IT Partners 2015 Event in Paris

Power management company Eaton is proud to announce that it has won the Infrastructure category of the 2015 Distribution Awards held at the IT Partners event in EuroDisney, Paris, in February. The award for Best 2014 IT Infrastructure Supplier reinforces Eaton’s commitment to helping its resellers achieve outstanding results and high customer satisfaction. Eaton was chosen from 25 entrants as the winner of the Infrastructure category via a survey of IT resellers in France.
“We have worked hard to ensure our channel partner program provides IT resellers with the assistance, technical support and high levels of customer service they need to help them demonstrate the business value of power management,” said Philippe Daga, sales director, Eaton Electrical EMEA. “We are honoured that the channel continues to place its trust in Eaton’s vision and that these efforts have now been recognised through the Distribution Awards, especially given that the judges were the resellers themselves.”
Launched three years ago in France, Eaton’s PowerAdvantage™ Partner Program provides resellers with the tools to deliver greater business value to customers and maximize revenues within the key growth segments of power and energy efficiency. These include an online technical training programme, accessible at any time, and an online portal containing the technical, commercial, marketing and sales support material they may need. Partners are also kept updated regularly about the latest products, offers and Eaton news through a monthly e-newsletter.
The IT Partners Event has supported the reseller community for the last 10 years, helping solution providers and the IT channel to work together to serve the needs of end users effectively. The Distribution Award survey is organised by Distributique magazine and measures the French reseller networks’ overall perceptions of IT manufacturers’ products and services across nine categories: Security, Network & Telecom, Infrastructure, IT Solutions/Software, File Management, Terminals, CCTV, Messaging & Unified Communication and Audio Video Integration System.
Respondents to the survey were asked to give their opinion on two essential questions: “Which manufacturer/solution provider offers the best product range?” and “Which manufacturer/solution provider has put into place the best indirect sales strategy?” Eaton was chosen as winner of the Infrastructure category, which had responses from 348 out of the 465 reseller survey participants.
The Best IT Infrastructure Supplier Award serves as an industry benchmark and acknowledges the solution providers that understand and best meet the needs of today’s resellers.
