Coraid and Veeam software team up to deliver cost-effective backups and disaster recovery for virtual machines

Coraid® Inc. alliance partnership with Veeam Software, an innovative provider of data protection, disaster recovery and management solutions for virtual datacentre environments. The combination of Coraid EtherDrive® SAN storage and Veeam Backup & Replication™, enables customers to achieve backup and disaster recovery goals easily and quickly, with a five-to-eight times price/performance advantage over Fibre Channel-based solutions.
Veeam Backup & Replication provides fast, flexible and reliable recovery of virtualised applications and data for both VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments. Deployed with Coraid storage, customers are able to:
· Back up, store and replicate data to an offsite location for disaster recovery
· Shrink the size of file backups using built-in source-side deduplication
· Quickly recover or run an entire VM, individual file or application-item from the same image-level backup
