Commidea Ltd adds further resilience and strengthens its relationship with The Bunker

August 2010 by Marc Jacob

The Bunker Secure Hosting Ltd, provider of Ultra* Secure Data Centres and Managed Services is pleased to announce an extension of services with its existing client, Commidea Ltd.

Commidea Ltd, recently acquired by Point International, is a market leader in card payment processing technology, providing a range of high performance systems and tailor-made solutions for almost every industry and market sector.

As a card payment processing specialist, Commidea has a requirement for secure and available data storage and has worked with The Bunker to shape an effective and scalable business solution. As consumers continue to favour card payments over cash, Commidea continues to see a rise in payment transactions passing through its payment system.

As a result of this increased demand, Commidea has extended its services with The Bunker in order to deliver another layer of redundancy to support its growing customer base. The extension of services will add further resilience with another data presence in a separate geographic location affording auto-failover from the primary data site and seamless data transfer.

This extension of services is further reinforced by The Bunker’s ISO 27001 and PCI DSS security accreditations and continued parallels between the company’s stances on data security.
