Check Point has introduced the new Check Point Compliance Software Blade, an integrated real-time compliance monitoring solution that leverages an extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and IT security best practices.
The Compliance Software Blade ensures that security policies are aligned with global regulations and validates that appropriate security levels are maintained - shortening audit times, improving security and reducing costs for businesses. The new solution is fully integrated into the Check Point Software Blade Architecture, providing a complete view of compliance status across Check Point Gateways and Network Security Software Blades.
The ever-increasing number of regulations and the rise of sophisticated threats have placed unprecedented pressure on IT security professionals to meet external compliance requirements and internal security mandates. The Check Point Compliance Software Blade alleviates enterprise-wide risks by translating thousands of complex regulatory requirements into security best practices.
The new compliance solution constantly monitors policy configurations on Check Point software blades to provide actionable recommendations with over 250 security best practices. The difficulty of maintaining compliance and preparing for regulatory audits is simplified with automated reports for compliance with top regulations.
The Check Point SmartDashboard management interface provides a 360° view of compliance making it easy for businesses to control, document and report on the organization’s security compliance posture. Since the new solution is fully integrated into the Check Point Software Blade Architecture every policy adjustment is checked for compliance including changes made to all Check Point Network Security Software Blades, including Firewall, IPS, Anti-Bot, DLP, and Application Control.
The solution provides automatic compliance alerts notifying users on the impact of their security decisions and bringing regulatory considerations to the forefront of security management.
