All-over-IP’2010: Benefits of Unified Communications for Telecom Operators and Corporate End-Users to be Introduced by Frost&Sullivan
August 2010 by Marc Jacob
Unified Communications has been a hot topic of discussion among US and European IT professionals for the previous 5 years. But it is only these days that we are able to talk about Unified Communications as a market with its quantity and quality indicators.
According to global analyst company Frost&Sullivan, the Russian market for Unified Communications will nearly double and reach 4 billion dollars by the end of 2010.
1. Nowadays, Unified Communications solutions are of main interest to large- and middle-scale enterprises that have a regional branch network and/or offer their employees mobile working capabilities.
2. Another group of users that take advantage of Unified Communications is young developing Russian companies with a new business culture. The downturn of 2009 has increased the need of corporate customers in cost effective communication solutions.
As Frost&Sullivan reports, a number of factors will drive the Russian Unified Communications market the next few years. Among them is the fact that the CU ideology is being promoted and implemented by a range of large market players including hardware vendors and IT system integrators. Key Russian telecom operators are expected to join them in the next 2-3 years offering users cloud Unified Communications solutions.
On November 18, 2010 Tatiana Tolmacheva, Business Development Executive of Frost&Sullivan Russia will hold a presentation titled "Expansion of Unified Communications in Russia and globally" at All-over-IP 2010 Forum.
A special focus will be given to the following questions:
1. The current state of the global and Russian market for Unified Communications;
2. Expectations of corporate users for Unified Communications solutions;
3. Unified Communications Users’ Feedback.
Tatiana Tolmacheva will introduce a few case studies on implementation of UC solutions in financial institutions as well as their benefits and advantages.
Groteck Business Media invites global vendors to join the All-over-IP 2010 Forum and to participate in UC panel discussion.
